arts therapy

Sometimes dialogue alone is not enough to really capture and explore the stories you need to share. In an arts therapy session, you can access a range of media and modalities including drawing, painting, writing, clay work, movement, sound and sand tray to help you explore your thoughts and feelings. It can be very helpful when you’re finding it hard to articulate what's going on and can give you space to engage with your story in a sensory way. Arts therapy is not about being good at art but about the meaning you take away from using these creative processes. A diagnosis or mental health care plan is not required to start arts therapy.
